Hi there!
We are a young, active couple excited to join a Workaway project this coming October and November. Sergio is currently waiting to join the fire department, and Rocio is a physiotherapist. We're looking for a place where we can volunteer, learn, contribute—and ideally be close to rock climbing areas!
We're passionate about nature, sustainability, and working with our hands. At home, we’ve started our very first vegetable garden, and we’re really enjoying the process of learning about permaculture and growing our own food. We also love natural building and any kind of physical work.
Our dream is to one day create our own project based on permaculture, nature, and construction—so this kind of experience is truly meaningful for us. We're both sporty, proactive, curious, and eager to help however we can. We enjoy working in teams, but we’re also comfortable taking initiative and working independently.
It would be amazing to find a place where we can contribute to a sustainable lifestyle and also enjoy climbing in our free time. If your project is close to sport, specially climbing, we’d love to hear more!

We’re both native Spanish speakers. Sergio has a German mother and a Spanish father, and thanks to his multicultural background and frequent travels, he also speaks English fluently. Rocío studied French at school, has traveled to several countries, and speaks good English as well. She's also starting to learn German and is very motivated to keep improving. We both enjoy cultural exchange and connecting with people from different places and backgrounds.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?
We’re a motivated and hard-working couple with a wide range of skills and a strong desire to learn and help wherever we can.
– Both of us are ski instructors, which means we’re used to working as a team, adapting to different situations, and connecting with people from all backgrounds. We’ve gained strong communication skills and a good sense of cooperation through this work.
– We have a small vegetable garden at home. Even though we’re beginners in agriculture, we already have some basic knowledge and a growing interest in permaculture and sustainable living.
– Sergio runs a climbing NGO and has experience in basic construction and woodworking. He has helped build one climbing walls in Katsikas (Greece), and enjoys hands-on, physical work.
– Rocío has done two Workaways: one in Chalabre, France, where she participated in building a sustainable house, and another in Austria, where she helped maintain a family’s organic garden. Both were great learning experiences that deepened her interest in ecological living.
– We’re both physically strong and fit, and enjoy doing manual, outdoor work. We’re not afraid to get our hands dirty and are happy to take on physical tasks.
– On top of that, we both have great social skills and love being around people. We adapt easily, communicate well, and always try to bring good energy to the team.
We’re always open to learning new things and excited to contribute in meaningful ways!

We share a dream of one day buying a house in the north of Spain, where we can create our own Workaway project. We imagine a place close to the sea and climbing areas, where we can live in harmony with nature, grow our own food through permaculture, build with natural materials, and host people from around the world. Meeting and learning from people who are already living this kind of lifestyle feels like a small but meaningful step towards making our dream a reality.
