Description

Hello, I am Sara from Toronto, Canada! I am a recent-ish graduate from Toronto Metropolitan University and have spent the last year and a half travelling and experiencing all life has to offer. I am always up for a new adventure and meeting new people!

I am involved in many of the arts: I am a singer-songwriter with my main instrument as the guitar and have done many live performances around Toronto! When I'm not travelling I work at a record store called Sonic Boom. I am also a photographer- I mainly shoot on 35mm film, but I do some freelance digital work as well. I love taking photos of architecture, nature, and my dear friends.

I also adore animals and nature and love to hike, swim, boulder, and surf. I have lots of experience with dogs and cats, as well as some gardening skills :)

I am so excited to travel and to meet all you wonderful folks along the way!

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I studied Professional Communication in university, where I learned many skills such as website development, graphic design, social media management, and content development. I also spent 3 years as a research assistant in my program completing statistical analysis and conducting research into Responsible Artificial Intelligence and Explanatory Journalism.

I play guitar, piano, bass, and sing, and have a fair knowledge of music theory and music production softwares. I am also a photographer and graphic designer, with knowledge of Adobe Suite.

I have experience volunteering in a community kitchen, a retirement home, and on a farm, where I have engaged with a wide variety of people and animals. I grew up in a small tight-knit community surrounded by lots of farmland so I have experience with gardening and working with animals like horses, cats, and dogs. I also worked in customer service for 5+ years, resulting in strong interpersonal skills.

I am always willing to learn new things!
