Hi! My name is Sarah, I’m 18 years old and come from a small town in Austria. I’ve just graduated from high school and am now taking some time to travel before starting university. I’m a very outgoing and adventurous person who loves meeting new people and discovering different ways of life.

My hobbies include hiking, climbing, biking, running, skiing, yoga, and pretty much anything outdoors! I’ve also worked with horses for the past eight years and even participated in dressage competitions, which taught me a lot about responsibility, discipline, and patience. Although I had to stop recently due to time constraints, I still have a deep love for animals and nature.

I’m very interested in languages and would love to improve my skills while traveling. I speak German and English fluently and know a bit of Spanish, which I would like to practice more.

I’m highly motivated to help others and contribute positively to the environment. Through Workaway, I hope to learn more about other cultures, connect with new people, and continue growing as a person.

I’ve spent two summers working as an assembly worker at a manufacturer of school furniture, I worked at a wildlife park last summer and am currently working in hospitality for a couple of months. I’ve also gained hands-on experience working with horses. Through these experiences, I’ve developed strong communication skills, the ability to work well in a team, and the confidence to handle different situations with ease. I’m a very active and outgoing person who loves being outdoors and seeking new adventures. I’m naturally motivated and enjoy challenging myself to try new things and grow. I’m always eager to get involved, ready to learn new skills, and to help out wherever I’m needed. Whether working with others or tackling tasks on my own, I bring a positive attitude and energy to everything I do. I’m excited to take on new experiences and contribute wherever possible.

In my free time, I love being outdoors, but on rainy days I also like reading, listening to music, and sewing. I really enjoy cooking, baking and trying out new recipes. I’m always up for a game of cards or board games like Uno, Wizard, or Monopoly. I enjoy spending time with others in a fun, social atmosphere and I’m very open-minded, always excited to learn new skills, whether it’s a craft, a game, or something completely different.
