Bonjour!
I’m Sara, 27, from Norway :-)

I’m an active, open-minded, and social person who loves being outdoors. I enjoy hiking, surfing, climbing, yoga, and I’m always happy to try new activities. I really like meeting new people, sharing everyday life, and learning from different ways of living and seeing the world.

I’m currently doing a master’s degree in social anthropology in Oslo, and I’m learning French. I’ll be in Guadeloupe for fieldwork (research), and one of my big goals while I’m here is to practice French as much as possible- ideally in a relaxed, everyday way.

I’m especially interested in farming and gardening projects, from small personal gardens to larger farms. I enjoy hands-on work like maintenance, general repairs, and learning about permaculture and sustainable practices. I’m also very curious about local farming traditions in Guadeloupe and would love to learn from people who carry everyday knowledge and experience.

I would love to meet new people while in Guadeloupe, maybe going to the beach, surfing, hiking, cooking, or just talking and sharing a meal. I'm looking for people to explore the island with, discuss in French, and enjoy the experience together.

I see myself as a hardworking and reliable person who enjoys practical tasks and learning new skills. I would be glad to help with gardening, painting, general maintenance, or housekeeping. I don’t mind physical work and find it rewarding—especially when it contributes to creating a welcoming home and a sustainable lifestyle.
