Description
Hola Workaway I’m Sally! I’ve been moving around different cities and jobs in the US since I was a teenager. I love being somewhere different and feel most at home when I’m somewhere strange to me. My hope is that someday I can fully support myself through remote work.
Some things I love are: walking, listening to music, listening to people talk, collecting things on the beach, baking, looking out the window of a train.
My mom is an artist, so creating things has been a part of my daily life since I was little. These days I’ve been writing, but I’ve gone through lots of phases and uploaded photos of a things I’ve made over the years. My favorite medium is just whatever the day calls for: birthday gifts, meals using leftovers, mending clothes, arranging kitchenware on the counter, that sort of thing.
Currently I’m working in digitizing archival materials for a library sciences company. I really love practical and domestic tasks like cleaning, yard work, and grocery shopping. I STRONGLY identify with a willingness to do whatever is needed and caring about it a lot. Mostly I'd like to be useful in the world!
