Hello!
My name is Dominik, I’m 20, from the Czech Republic, and currently studying law in Prague.
I started traveling at 18, spent two months in South Africa, and ended up making a friend for life. We volunteered in the Drakensberg, building hiking trails and helping at a local school. That same year, I also visited the USA and Canada for a while, and went to Málaga a few times, where my friend was on an exchange program.
This year I spent four months in Central and South Asia, mostly hiking and getting myself ready for proper mountaineering, but I also squeezed in some culture stops in Afghanistan and Pakistan. Not long ago, I hitchhiked to Saint Petersburg and later visited Ukraine.
Next summer I’m planning a 3-month trip to Bolivia and Peru to climb in the Cordillera Real and Cordillera Blanca. My big dream — maybe crazy, but whatever — is to stand on top of Alpamayo.
When I’m old, I want to be able to say, “I did it all, I lived.”

I play tennis. I speak English at a C2 level. I’ve just started getting into photography and mountaineering. I can survive basically anything that doesn't kill me.
