Description
My name is Yingda, which in Chinese can mean "intelligent" and "successful." I am an adventurous and motivated person with a deep love for travel and learning. I have had the incredible opportunity to explore more than 30 countries, experiencing a variety of cultures along the way.
Three years ago, I embarked on a self-guided journey to learn Spanish, which has taken me through the beautiful landscapes and vibrant cultures of Latin America. So far, I have visited Mexico, Colombia, Ecuador, Chile, Argentina, and Uruguay. My Spanish has progressed from zero to an intermediate-high level, and I am excited to continue improving as I believe it is a beautiful and valuable language.
I began learning Portuguese in December 2024. While I'm still at a beginner level, I can already communicate in basic Portuguese and am eager to improve through immersion and real-life interaction in Brazil.
In Chinese, we have a saying, "读万卷书不如行万里路," which means "Reading ten thousand books is not as good as traveling ten thousand miles." This philosophy guides my life. I aspire to explore more places, share my culture, and exchange knowledge and skills with people from all walks of life. I believe in creating a world filled with support and love through these connections.Centres d’intérêt

Quelles sont vos compétences ?
I have experience in both customer service and education as I have worked in various sectors such as hospitality, fitness, childcare, and language institutes. These roles have improved my communication skills and my ability to connect with people from different backgrounds.
During my university years, I was an active member of a service-oriented fraternity. I spent my weekends volunteering at CentroNía, an organization that provides affordable early childhood education and support to low-income families. There, I focused on tutoring bilingual students with immigration backgrounds, helping them improve their reading and math skills.
Having grown up in China, I'm excited to share my culture and language with others as well!Âge
