Hola hola! My name is Rachael, and I am a primary school teacher from New York City. I love working with children, and I love cultural exchange!

I have my master's degree in early childhood education and special education and have extensive experience in childcare and teaching English as a second language.

I am a very active person, and in my free time, I love to run, bike, swim, hike, do yoga or explore the city! I also love to read.

I recently moved to Tenerife to teach English through the Fulbright program. I work Monday through Thursday from 8am-1pm and would love to spend the afternoons and Fridays with your family helping around the house and teaching English to you or your children.

I am responsible, organized and tidy, and I can cook. I also have my US driver's license.

I'd love to help you around the house and teach your children (or you!) English. Please reach out if you think I'd be a good fit for your family.

¡Hola hola! Me llamo Raquel, y soy maestra de la escuela primaria en la ciudad de Nueva York. Me encanta trabajar con los niños, y me encanta el intercambio cultural.

Tengo mi maestría en educación infantil y educación especial y tengo una amplia experiencia en cuidado de niños y enseñanza de Inglés como segundo idioma.

Soy una persona muy activa, y en mi tiempo libre, me encanta correr, montar la bicicleta, caminar, hacer yoga, o explorar la ciudad. También, me encanta leer.

Me mudo a los Islas Canarias enseñar Inglés a través del programa Fulbright. Mi nueva trabajo no empieza hasta 11 de Septiembre, así que quiero pasar un tiempo antes sumergiéndome en la cultura y el idioma españoles. ¡Hablo una buena cantidad de español, pero quiero practicar contigo y con otras! Y por supuesto, puedo ayudarte y tu familia con inglés. ¡Sera un placer!

Estoy libre a partir del 15 de agosto. Soy responsible, organizado y ordenado, y puedo cocinar. También tengo mi licencia de conducir de los Estados Unidos.
