Hello,

I'm Renata, Brazilian, 28 years old.

I’m a civil engineering, worked for a couple of years with that but I was totally unhappy with my career in Brazil.
I started my journey in 2021 through another volunteering website, where I was able to experience volunteering in hostels and in an spiritual community where I had the opportunity to stay for 10 months and this experience changed me completely.

I love discovering new cultures, helping people and animals, being connected with nature/meditating/yoga, listening to a good story, dance and see myself in new different experience - as long as I have these things around me I'm happy 😁

I’m a chill person, I like to work hard and don't mind getting my hands dirty - it helps the mind the the body to be in harmony.

My purpose in this world is to serve, to serve a new earth in which I believe in helping and giving. I feel completely fulfilled when I volunteer and I can have this genuine and sincere exchange with the hosts.

I’d really like to go deeper into spirituality and work such as bioconstruction, permaculture (which I am very interested in learning more about), and also hospitality, which is an area in which I have a lot of appreciation and skill.

My parents own a restaurant in Brazil, so I worked in hospitality from a very early age. I think about one day combining permaculture, bioconstruction and hospitality in my own holistic place in Brazil or in another part of the world, which is why I look for places with some of these proposals.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

In my last volunteering I was able to learn and improve several different things, such as gardening, bioconstruction, cooking and painting.
After volunteering in Brazil, I decided to come to Australia where I worked in hospitality in different areas of the restaurant as a kitchen hand, waitress and manager. I also have experience with reception and cleaning.
I’m a fast learner and love to learn new things and improve what I already know :)
