Hi! We are Becky (29) and Jack (28) a couple currently residing in the UK, but will be travelling to Italy in the summer to have a respite from the stresses of modern working life in pursuit of something hopefully more meaningful and connect with new people, experiences and cultures.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

Rebecca:

Having primarily worked in hospitality for the first half of my working career and the latter in a financial services role - I must say I have a fairly well rounded CV of skills! However, where I really come into my own is when i’m dropped into new environments with new people and left to chat away and get to know everyone. If you ever need a living breathing ice breaker - i’m usually the first port of call! I have a Bachelors degree in Film and TV Production and did my dissertation on Taylor Swift in 2017…so a pop culture connoisseur you could say I am! I have also completed high school with all the necessary qualifications, specialising in Drama, English Literature and Media.
Skills wise, I am proficient in housework/cleaning, the basics of cooking, proficient use of Microsoft products and general admin, and my ability to settle into a conversation with pretty much anyone in general is my strongest selling point! I am also good with children, although babies is a little bit out of my wheelhouse I’m afraid! Manual tasks such as DIY and woodworking i am not all too familiar with, but i am a fast learner and hard worker so I imagine with a little bit of instruction I can pick it up easily enough.

I absolutely adore animals, and if the universe was to listen to my deepest desires it would grant me an animal sanctuary to host any animals in need of rescuing. I have grown up with a variety of animals throughout my childhood, and any i haven’t had close encounters with I would be keen to observe and learn from them…as much to take care of them as to maybe learn a thing or two for myself!

Rebecca:

I love music above all else, and going to gigs and concerts of my favourite artists is my most preferred past time. I love gaming too, specifically The Last of Us Part 2 and Red Dead Redemption 2 (I have a thing for sequels evidently!) are my favourite games of all time. Reading is a great escape and thoroughly enjoy that when i can steal away a moment for myself! Animals in general are a passion of mine and would love to work/volunteer more with them if i can - they’ve taught me a lot of patience over the years and think it’s super special you can communicate and love something that doesn’t speak the same language as you!
