Helloooo, I'm Raphaëlle, a 29 year old French girl from France, yoga teacher anytime I can, wilderness guide in Lapland in winter and oyster girl in summer.

I'm really looking forward to meeting new people, learning new skills, bringing mine, helping,... I just would love to be in an environment where people are like me and are looking for the same things as me: connection, discovery and exchange.

I have traveled and lived a lot in different countries (Canada, Finland, Spain, Germany, the Nordics, Baltics, Italy, USA, Colombia...) for work, studies and holidays. I volunteered for cultural events mostly and in a hotel in Colombia, in a kitesurf school in Turkey and in a surf resort in Fiji.

I grew up in the countryside surrounded by animals and nature. I'm an ocean girl and just love being in nature.
I am an extremely positive person, always willing to do anything, attentive and empathetic. I'm surely a people person, I love to talk about anything and everything because that's how you get to know others. I love adventure but I need calm as well. I'm an extremely spiritual person. I live and breathe yoga since a few years. I had a grandpa who was a yoga teacher so yoga has always been there for me but I had to bring it to my life.
I have always been sporty: gymnastics, bodysurfing, swimming. I love hiking, swimming in cold waters. I tried surfing and sailing so would love to give it a try again. Any physical work is welcome basically!
I love spending time with children, especially my little nephews. I was also an AuPair for 3 months in Spain so I would be happy to help with children.
I never had the chance to have many pets except hamsters and cats but I love animals so much that sometimes I wonder why I didn't choose a profession related to them but let's say it's never too late so who knows.

I'm interested in any type of help I can bring in hostels, eco-projects, on boats, in surf schools, farms, families with children, languages exchanges (French, English)...

I think that's pretty much it even though I could always tell you more and more.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

YOGA & SPIRITUALITY & PLANTS
I'm quite a nature person. I know quite a lot now about essential oils, how to use them to heal, I'm really interested in plants in general. I practice yoga and I have been teaching occasionnaly since 2 years now.

TOURISM & CULTURE
I studied languages, business, cultural event management and tourism. I worked for several years in the film and event industry and now I have been working for 2 seasons as a wilderness guide in Lapland.

WITH CHILDREN + TEACHING LANGUAGES
I'm totally capable of taking care of childen, play with them and teach them French or English since I did it for a summer in Spain and I'm used to babysit my nephews since they are babies.

WITH ANIMALS
I can help with animals or petsitting since I'm used to take care of animals like dogs and cats mostly, for example my sisters' dog who is a wolf-dog.

HOUSEKEEPING : COOKING, CLEANING, PAINTING, ...
I absolutely love cooking, mostly pastries and cakes (banana bread and carrot cakes are my favorites), but I never say no to cooking when I have time so if you need any help on this part, I’m in. As for manual skills, I paint a lot. Most of the time, I can fix things when it’s not too technical but I learn easily. I used to take care of the garden in my parents house, cook with vegetables or fruits from it, and used to not having anything or anyone directly to help as we were a little bit remote, we mostly need to find solutions ourselves so I have quite a « can-do » attitude.

COMPUTER SKILLS
Can help with anything related to marketing, social media (Facebook, Instagram, Linkedin, Twitter), graphic design (Canva, Photoshop). I can't build a website but happy to help with it.

SAILING/BOATS IN GENERAL
I learned to sail when I was 12 but never tried again when I was older. I have the basics and would love to get back to it. I have as well my boat licence but never really used it but if needed, I can help.
