Last summer, I went interrailing with a friend - and it completly kick-started my joy of travelling. Since then, I've spend half a year in Greenland working at a hotel where I got to meet lots of amazing people from all over the world. And now I can't wait to experience more of the world!

When I'm not travelling, I love to play music. Especially the piano, but also the flute, cello, or a new intrument brings me joy. Beautiful nature and landscapes under a blue sky or an orange sunset fills my mind with thankfulness and peace. Whether it's the sea, the forrest or the mountains, it amazes me and makes me happy. I find it very fascinating and interesting to meet people from other places and hear about their life and future plans. And then I just look forwards to talk to and laugh with new friends along the way.

I would love to improve my German. I've leant it in school, but never really used it. Languages as French, Italian, Spanish or others would be very interesting to learn as well.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

Summer 2021, I graduated from the gymnasium in Denmark. Since then, I've had two gap years filled with experiences - both travelling, attending a "folk school" (you live there for half a year and have whatever classes you like e.g. music, arts, sports, litterature), working in Denmark and in Greenland.

As receptionist at the hotel in Nuuk, Greenland, I quickly got an overview of entire hotel operation. I've been checking people in and out, answering mails and questions, closed the cashregister at night and done other tasks. In additon to this, I've worked in our cafe and restaurant when needed and in housekeeping.

In Denmark, I've tried a little of everything. I've made small bouquets and served costumers in a flower shop at christmas. I've made decorations of spuce branches (pine tree) for a cemetary. I've worked in summer at a landscape gardener company - and I love be in a garden! I've been a janiters assistent at a boarding school two weeks every summer since I was 13 years old. Here, I painted walls, mowed the lawn, organized keys, fixed things and was generally a helping hand when needed.

It's important for me to make an effort and do my best - and do it effectively.

I love listening to people tell about something they are passionate about. That inspires me very much!

I like playing board games, going to concerts and museums, singing songs around a bonfire, eating pizza with a view, enjoying a beautiful garden with flowers, going on tiny impulsive adventures - or just sit and talk.
