Hi! my name is penny :) i am a creative individual looking for new experiences around the world. It is my dream to start my own sustainable artistic project/ community when i am older and am aiming to study Sustainable Development next year in university. It is so important to me to meet likeminded creatives and environmentalists so we can learn from eachother and create a prosperous and fair world.
I would love to improve my carpentry skills, my first workaway experience gave me the opportunity to use power tools i hadn't used before and it was exhilarating!!! I really enjoyed working with wood and steel and am looking forward to more diy projects !!

I am interested in learning multiple languages, I think its one of the most important skills to have. At the moment I know a beginners level in Spanish but am keen to work on that skill. I am also excited to be given the opportunity to teach English as I am fluent and well-spoken.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I possess a basic knowledge of tools and building, given to me by my recent volunteering experience. I am confident while using power tools and planning projects. I have contributed to the construction of a yoga deck, an outhouse using second hand wood and solar panel frames from steel. I also aided in the installation of a waste water treatment plan.
I just recently learned how to lay bricks, and I would love to improve this skill aswell.

Growing up in Australia I spent my time gardening with my father. After leaving Highschool I attended college for garden design. Unfortunately, this is when Covid hit. So I was left doing a "hands-on" course on the computer in my room. I am looking for an opportunity where I can fulfil my desire to play with some dirt.

I am currently learning a lot about soil preparation and health, a topic very important to a self-sufficient lifestyle that's 100% sustainable. This is a topic that I am always keen to learn more on.

I am a people person! Working and travelling has shaped me into an outgoing individual that's always excited to meet new people and discover new experiences:)

I love cooking and hosting, I am super excited to share meals with new people and learn new stories, languages, recipes and crafts!

At the moment I do online courses in many different subjects such as philosophy, religion, and ancient beliefs. I think it is very important to keep learning no matter how old.
Growing up I was blessed with many pets, something that moving to Scotland limited. I am super keen to be around animals again.
