My name is Polina, and I am a university student from Russia, currently finishing my degree in Classical Philology. I am passionate about languages, culture, history, and meeting people from different backgrounds.

I am an open-minded, responsible, and hardworking person (honestly). I enjoy both social environments and independent tasks, and I adapt quickly to new situations!
I love learning new things and more than ok with challenges (= I might not have the skills but I am coachable). Whether it is helping with guests, working outdoors, organizing activities, cleaning, or learning completely new skills, I am always happy to contribute!

In my free time I enjoy singing, playing guitar, watching all sorts of movies, crafting (crochet and whatever pinterest would recommend), learning languages (of course), doing some graphic design, hiking, badminton, table tennis, and exploring local culture and history. Speaking of history, my major turned me into a walking podcast station, so I can promise a 5% chance of you getting bored of me.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

• Hospitality and customer service – I have worked as a barista in my friend's coffee shop, preparing coffee, interacting with customers, and creating a welcoming atmosphere 🙌

• Teaching and languages – I teach languages and enjoy helping others learn. My university major is Classical Philology, so I can teach Latin and Ancient Greek. I speak English fluently, have conversational French, and am currently learning Modern Greek, Italian, and German 🏛️🫧📜

• Childcare – I have worked in children's summer camps and hold a certificate that qualifies me to work with children. I also organized creative and educational activities for groups of different ages ☺️

• Arts and creativity – I have experience organizing theatre performances, creative evenings, workshops, and cultural activities 🧸🎭

• Crafts and handmade projects – I enjoy crochet, sewing, jewelry making, and other DIY. I am always excited to learn new artistic skills! 🪅✨

• Housekeeping and general help – I am reliable, hardworking, and happy to help with cleaning, organizing, cooking assistance, and everyday household tasks (✿◡‿◡)

• Archaeology and outdoor work – I have participated in archaeological expeditions and am comfortable with physical outdoor work. I enjoy hands-on tasks and do not mind getting dirty! 🦕

• Music – I sing, play guitar, and have previously led a vocal club for children at a summer camp 🎤

I have way too many hobbies and I'm always picking up new ones.

I love films, photography, singing, playing guitar, crafts, board games, table tennis, and badminton. I can spend hours talking about movies, learning a new song, or working on some handmade project.

Photography is probably my favourite hobby because it makes me pay attention to everyday life. I love noticing small details, interesting faces, animals, old buildings, strange objects, and little moments that make a place feel alive (check my inst: @apollemor)

I'm also a big history and archaeology enthusiast and have joined several archaeological expeditions. Digging holes for hours turns out to be surprisingly enjoyable.

In general, I'm a curious person who likes learning things, meeting people, and finding beauty in ordinary places, I'm good at being both fun and quiet company< I'm sure we'll get along! 🤍
