Description

Joe works in Information Technology (so is good with computers) but tired of the corporate world. Whilst Pav works in project management (organisation skills, budgeting, mentoring etc).

We're currently on a year away and looking to find some way to give back to the wider world/community as we travel.

We both have a strong love for animals, having grown up around cats and dogs (and currently having a pet cat, who's staying with family). We are both good with our hands, having completed many DIY projects (building a campervan, replacing kitchen, bathrooms etc) previously. In our downtime, you'll find Joe fixing cars and Pav painting/crocheting.

Joe: I'm motivated by both being able to see a result for my effort, and knowing that I've helped make the day of another being just that little bit better. I also enjoy teaching, and seeing the pleasure others get from learning a new skill.

Pav: I'm motivated to help others
achieve their dreams or potential and to continue growing/learning as an individual.

Once this year of traveling is over, our dream is to buy a small holding back home, with the aim to create somewhere self-sufficient where nature and local creatures can thrive, and to encourage creativity and wellbeing.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

Joe:
- good with computers and IT
- good with (and confident around) animals
- general DIY and maintenance
- mechanical repairs and maintenance
- basic low voltage electrical (think 12v campervan wiring and solar installation)
- teaching to adults
- general house upkeep
- quick and versatile learner (apart from IT, most of these skills are self taught)

Pav:
- home maintenance/renovation and DIY including some carpentry projects
- artist (looking to do my first mural!)
- some experience gardening
- good with animals
- cooking and general house upkeep
- project/organisational skills
- fast learner and good with my hands
