Description
Hey, I’m Tim. 35 years old and a carpenter from Margaret River in the South West of Australia.
I used this account once 10 years ago to stay with someone in Amsterdam and now i’m looking to use it again to connect and find nice people doing cool things in beautiful places.

I’ve been travelling since January 2026 and have spent two months in India, hiked for a month in Turkey, and spent the last of spring in Germany, Czechia and Sicily visiting friends and family and doing some workaway.

I have skills in carpentry (eco house building), woodworking, gardening and farming, mechanics and permaculture.

I've lived on off grid biodynamic/organic farms, helped raise livestock, completed a Permaculture Design Course, setup my own vegetable gardens and built and fixed many things.

I’m also a decent cook, and have an interest in spirituality, communal living, philosophy and politics

I stayed with Marina for a week and had a good time. We got a lot of woodworking projects done, and she showed me the coastline of Montenegro and invited me to a local birthday lunch with friends. Tim showed up in times of crisis and saved the day! Not only with his skills but also with his calm and steady presence. What we read in his review from 10 years ago still stands - he is committed and independent in work, proactive, and gets things done. Tim is an Excellent-Relaxed-Tidy-Flexible-Technical-Patient-Independent volunteer. He adapts to the situations and is pro-active.
For about 2 months he fixed all kind of things I had around. Even if he didn't know how to do it, he would ask or be online to find out how to get it done.
