Marta
I'm a nature lover dedicated to learning about local environments and the ways of connecting, cooperating with it. Travelling is my biggest passion, I enjoy exploring new places and I can feel at home anywhere I am. Long walks through the forest, hiking, late night talks, jamming and any kind of creation are some of many activites that bring me pure happiness. I live by the rule of keeping the balance between giving and taking, and since I've been given such a beautiful life I'm constantly trying to give more beauty to the world.

Maciek
I have always been travelling since I was a child. I've travelled alone, with my family and with friends. From the experiences that I have gathered and will gather I plan to one day create a place where people can grow as human beings and live in harmony with nature. I believe there is always something I can learn from others. I love getting to know people and their cultures, working together, creating music, enjoying nature actively (swimming, hiking, surfing), cooking together.
Me and my family have been organising a festival in Poland every summer for last 9 years. I've always helped with construction and volunteers. I have experience with wood, clay, glass and bricks. I also believe that good relations between people and great atmosphere are the key to working and creating something together, and so I always try to keep things joyful and light, with good effort and sense of responsibility.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

Marta:
I'm communicative, open-minded and fast-learning. I have worked as a social media expert in a NGO, so I can do anything connected with promotion - write FB/IG posts, make graphics. Currently I have become an english teacher, so I can organize english classes for both children and adults.
My chief virtue is flexibility and the ability to fit into any situation. As I have worked in gastronomy and in oldschool music store I can honestly say I've got great social skills, I would fit in a hostel, restaurant, bar, resort, on the reception desk etc.
Recently I was co-hosting a mountain shelter in Carpathian mountains (Southern Poland) where I was welcoming guests and tourists, supervising and taking care of the whole place. I'm no stranger to responsibility, leadership or administration. I can keep the place clean, welcoming and full of life.
I play music and I love to spread the joy of life, so I would be a good fit in a role of creative events initiator. I was busking in a few European countries, meeting different people and learning the importance of creative expression. Any kind of creative work would be exciting and good for me. I can help with organising workshops, concerts, jam sessions, trips. I'm an amateur in herbal therapies and natural healing, I can share my knowleadge in this field.

I already have some Workaway experience including housekeeping, taking care of a child, natural building & construction, gardening, pruning trees (spent two months on olive pruning!), general maintenance and many others.

Maciek

As I mentioned before I helped organising a festival/gathering in Poland for 9 years now. During that time I was working in construction with materials such as clay, wood, glass and bricks. Besides building I was managing other people's work, making sure everyone is happy with their jobs. After work I was creating evening events (sauna, board games, social games) and music sessions (I play guitar), so all of us could have some fun at the end of the day. I also have experience in planting vegetables and flowers and general house maintanance.

My main profession is acting, so I know how be presentable and how to create great atmosphere. I could definitely work as a host in a resort or a hotel, greeting guests and making sure they have everything they need.

I also have some circus skills with staffs (spinning, putting on fire) and devil sticks that I am definitely happy to share.

I have lived in England for 11 years, so teaching english is another natural skill to me. I am a patient and understanding teacher in anything I teach. Speaking about that, I am also a fast learner and can quickly and happily adapt and improve my skills if needed.
