We both have done Workaway before, and actually met through one out in California in 2021. We've been together ever since, hanging out in Michigan and are finally ready for some more adventure! In the next coming months we will be making our way around Europe, Thailand, Indonesia, and Japan, visiting loved ones, old friends and hopefully making a few new ones. :)

Hello! I am originally from Texas, but have called Michigan my home for the last year and a half. I am passionate about people, food, growth, and sustainability. I love meeting new people and learning about what makes them tick; I also appreciate solo work and immersing myself in the present of whatever task is at hand. If I can get my hands or toes in some dirt that day I am pretty content, but love all sorts of tasks! Nick is an unexpected joy that has been an incredible motivator and supporter in my life and I am so excited to frolic around the world with him. He's a beautiful and kind soul with an incredible openness and appreciation for the world. Anywho ;) we are so excited to meet you or ya'll and hope that we can be a participant in your shenanigans!

Nick:
Workaway has slowly become a staple in my life, since it's brought me to people I love from all walks of life and it has most definitely expanded my perspective. At this point, I'm not sure the word "travel" encapsulates the entirety of what Workaway means to me. It feels like much more than that.

For work I'm mostly a multi-media enthusiast: graphic designer, musician, photographer, videographer. My dream is to travel the world and collaborate with other people. I've been doing freelance work for a few years now and experimenting with entrepreneurial life which has brought about many challenges, especially throughout COVID. I'm looking to find a new approach, whatever that may be :)

Throughout the last few years I have also been on a spiritual journey of sorts, which has brought me to the teachings and philosophies of Tibetan Buddhism, Zen Buddhism, Advaita Vedanta, Hinduism, and others.

- Loves cooking, especially with unprocessed plant-based foods
- Experienced with kombucha, sourdough, and focaccia, composting!

Nick:
- Expertise in graphic & web design, social media, and SEO.
- Adept in videography/filmmaking and photography.
- Multi-instrumentalist: piano, guitar, drums, trombone, and Otomatone.
- Experienced babysitter, being the eldest of four.
- Year's worth of experience in carpentry
- Culinary enthusiast with a knack for Indian cuisine.
- Electronic music producer for 8 years.

Nick:
In my free time you'll find me meditating, reading, breakdancing, throwing people in Judo, watching an anime on occasion, or listening to new music genres.

Emma:
- I have recently started making Kombucha! While I am a novice, it would be fun to continue with it, to learn more.
- I love board games/anything to work out my noggin: have you heard of Tak?
- I enjoy reading introspective books, and about history and cultures, or sci-fi. I just love a good story, so suggestions are welcome :)
- I fiddle around on the piano, enjoy the ability to express.
- I love to learn about others' passions, to see someone express themselves and share what motivates them is marvelously fulfilling.
