Description
We are Nick and Mallory, both 26 years old and living together in Brighton, England. Between September 2023 - July 2024 we undertook an unforgettable 10 month trip exploring Australia, New Zealand, South East Asia and Canada. We are now preparing for our next adventure in January 2025, a year-long working holiday in Australia.
We took part in 5 Workaway exchanges during our previous trip, and really enjoyed all of them. We are excited by the opportunity to stay with local people and help out however we can with day to day tasks. We are both respectful, positive and friendly people, open to learning new skills and approach tasks with enthusiasm and determination.
It was amazing to get to know the reality of living in the places we visited and immerse ourselves in local culture. We love being outside and enjoy activities such as hiking, kayaking and swimming. In the evening, we prefer quiet nights in playing games, watching films, reading and cooking meals.

Nick: I have a degree in Business and have worked in marketing (mainly social media and copywriting) for three years.
Mallory: I have a degree in Psychology and have worked in marketing in the education and healthcare sectors.

The work consisted of around 4 hours gardening with Is each day, followed by cooking lunch/cleaning up. We enjoyed working in the garden and learned a lot from Is who explained everything thoroughly… read more
