Hey,

I’m Nelli, 19yo and from Germany.
In my gap year I try to meet interesting new people and explore as many countries as possible while I also try to figure out what to study…

So far I’ve done a short AuPair in an UK family and worked on farms Scandinavia. I made some amazing experiences that way.


Now I’m looking for two different things:

On the one hand, I'm interested in joining school life as a teaching assistant. I'm thinking about becoming an elementary teacher myself but I'm not sure about that yet.

So far, I have worked with children aged 0 to 15. In addition to my work as an AuPair, I’ve babysat, tutored younger students and even did an internship at a German elementary school.

I absolutely love working with children because to me they somehow have a unique vision of the world 🥰 I would especially be interested in trying to teach, to prepare lessons and to learn as much as possible from the teachers.


On the other hand, I'm looking for work - accommodation food exchanges in South Europe where I plan to stay a few weeks each. I wouldn’t love to work with children or in smaller groups with animals or building projects.

I’m always interested in trying something new! I love spending time in nature, whether it’s swimming, hiking or bike riding. DIY projects, paper crafts and any kind of games are always welcome as well. Moreover, I try to live a sustainable lifestyle and eat (delicious) plant based food. I'm a tidy person.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

First and most important, am willing to learn new things and improve my skills, especially to do something socially good or environmentally sustainable.

So far, I took care of some amazing children as an AuPair in the UK (and in Switzerlandk. Afterwards I worked on two different farms in Scandinavia where I improved my gardening, building and cooking skills.

I’m a very open minded, mostly outgoing person, who can be quite enthusiastic about certain things but also stays organised and works with great conscientiousness.
