Hello/Hola/Привет!

I'm from Savannah, Georgia (US) and I teach English and Spanish!

Sharing culture, ideas, and experiences with both the locals and like-minded world citizens!

I'm a multilingual free-spirit seeking adventure in the hope of discovering meaning in this crazy thing we call life and so any opportunity to share and exchange with each other is an opportunity I desire. With luck, perhaps our paths will cross! :)

It is important to me that any Workaway opportunity I volunteer at be some sort of a cultural exchange. I will work hard and am not afraid to get my hands dirty, and in doing so I hope to learn more valuable skills! However, I also want to learn about and share with the people surrounding me. Your home is not a free hostel and I'm not free labour, if we understand each other then I believe we will get along wonderfully!

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I'm CELTA certified and work as a English language teacher while pursuing graduate studies in Spanish and so I'd be happy to teach English or Spanish! :)

I lived on a farm for many years and so I have a great deal of experience caring for animals and tending to recreational gardens.

I also have experience with construction although nothing professional. My experience is largely from building various structures for my farm and from other volunteer opportunities around the world. I am eager to learn more!

My hobbies are language exchanges, martial arts (Jiu Jitsu, Muay Thai, Kick Boxing and Greco-Roman wrestling), the ocean (surfing, free-diving, snorkeling, fishing, kayaking), fitness and nutrition, hiking the wilderness, and travelling (Slow and steady grows the heart!).

I'm interested in gaining more experience in various agricultural practices, especially permaculture and methods to improve sustainable living.

I am also interested in construction projects so that I may one day use those acquired skills for my own homestead!
