Hi there! I’m Maria Victoria.

I’m Venezuelan by birth, but definitely shaped by the world. Traveling and living in different places has taught me how to adapt easily, work hard, connect with people from different backgrounds, and appreciate simple, intentional ways of living.

My interests are varied and ever-evolving, ranging from permaculture and pottery to plant medicine, psychology, and yoga. I also love cooking and see it as a way of caring for people, sharing culture, and creating connection through food.

I’m currently taking a month off between life transitions and hoping to find a community or place where I can contribute meaningfully while continuing to grow, both personally and alongside the people I meet. I’m seeking a peaceful, grounding environment where I can recharge, reconnect with myself, and prepare for the next stage of my life, while still remaining open to new experiences and learning opportunities.

I’m a responsible, open-minded, and warm person who enjoys being helpful and present in daily life. I value clear communication, mutual respect, and genuine exchange.

For me, Workaway is about cultural exchange, shared living, and meaningful connection, being part of a place rather than just passing through. I’m excited to share my energy, skills, meals, stories, and curiosity along the way.

Hello! My name is Maria Victoria, currently living in Portugal and finishing my masters in Arts and Culture Management, and also doing my second year in Transpersonal Therapy. I graduated in hospitality and tourism management but went for a more humanistic and nature related variant. Over the past years my focus has been on personal self development, to then serve as a guide and facilitator to others who are on their path toward healing and growth. I have great interpersonal skills, I’ve volunteered in several areas before, I’m very adaptable and looking for the opportunity to be involved in social work and be of service to the community
