Description

We recently retired and now want to travel within Europe with our 2 year old collie - Skye.

We are looking for our first workaway, having been interested by the positive experience of Anthony’s brother and his wife doing workaways in Spain, France and Costa Rica. Orna joined them at one workaway in France - house sitting and garden maintenance on a large property so is familiar with what it takes and how it works.

Orna is a keen gardener and Anthony enjoys DIY projects including woodwork, basic plumbing, repairs, painting etc. We are both practical, used to getting our hands dirty and enjoy outdoor as well as indoor working.

In their past working lives, Orna was a biologist and later an accountant while Anthony was involved in sales and later worked for multinational companies.

Now we enjoy mixing work and pleasure activities. Both have a keen interest in all aspects of the natural world. We have recently taken up pickleball. We enjoy walking, bird watching, canoeing, photography and general nature observation.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

Orna is an experienced amateur gardener with a good knowledge of plants and trees. She has a good knowledge of painting and decorating and loves arts and crafts and is competent at sewing.
Anthony is competent at DIY projects. He has constructed wood sheds, built stone walls and paths etc.
Both have practical experience with farm animals, using general power tools, gardening equipment etc.
Both are computer literate.
