We stayed with Bjørg for two weeks. She was full of energy, much more than what we were imagining 🤣. She was very kind and helpful, took us to many, many, many places and also introduced us to her family. There was a lot of work in her beautiful garden and house, so we did our best to help her. She also cooked very tasty meals 🍲😍. We also met her

Dear Bebora was staying at my place as an Workawayer for one week. She was just adorable to have around, and I felt like she was my own daughter almost from day one. She helped me in the garden with different tasks. She drove wheelbarrow with gravel, raked autum leaves, laid on bark, and gathered apples. Always with a smile on her face 😄

I also was impressed about how wise and reflected she was at her age. So I enjoyed our nice conversations in the evenings. Therefore it was quite hard emotionally to say goodbye to this nice and lovely girl from Switzerland 🥰

ayay, i don't even know where to start...
Bjørg was my first Workaway-expirience and i couldn't imagine that it would be such a great and unforgettable expirience.
i felt at home from the very beginning, as Bjørg picked me up at the busstation. She is just such a heartwarming, caring, flexible and open person. it felt like we already knew each
… read more other since a long time, because talking and connecting with her was just so easily.
Bjørgs house is lovely-small and absolutely cozy. One reason more, why i felt comfortable from the beginning. The garden of her is a dream and you can really feel how much work and heart&soul she have already but in her garden to make it look like this. i really enjoyed working in the garden together with Bjørg.
when we didn't worked in the garden she showed me the area and the islands around like a born travel guide. 😛
so, i can highly recommend Bjørg as a host and i will never forget the time, the talks, all the things we experienced and all the beautiful memories we collected together... and of course i also won't forget the beautiful view from your little house-mountain.

My stay at Bjørgs Place was very nice. She lives in a cozy small house in the middle of the forest so you can really switch off. But don’t you think that it’s just vacation at her place. You can learn a lot of new things, you might never have done before. I can say that I really learned so much new and I liked it a lot. Doing concrete, rebuilding

When I left the place I felt that I could work as a professional gardener afterwards 🪴👨🏼🌾 Bjørg is a very nice and friendly person and she showed me around a lot of places, I also got to know her nice family and friends. I am very thankful for her help with my papers for the teacher training when we arrived at the post office ten minutes before it closed and had little problems with the printer before 🤪😳🏤 I won’t forget the walk to the lighthouse as well! That was chembe bra. It was a nice time, I learned so much and I am very happy for the experience! Bjørg is really nice and a very sporty person. She probably outperforms you when it comes to doing planks 🤯 the place offers a lot of possibilities to work and learn and one thing I appreciated very much was that Bjørg found work that was fitting me good and interesting. She managed to make a good plan, so the work wasn’t boring at any point. I am happy about my decision to go there. It was really nice and interesting. Lukas has been at my house for ten days. He is en excellent Workawayer. He did a lot of good work for me, and realy used his muscles. He digged a lot of vegetation from the mountain behind the house. He also digged a lot of soil avay from the lawn, and digged realy big stones avay, before he drove a lot of wheelbarrows with gravel. Making an aera
… read more with stones i concrete was an other task he made brilliantly. He was also hardworking with cutting branches from trees before burning them in a barrel.
We had nice conversation, and cosy meals together, and we drive around the area to watch different tourist attractions.
We had a nice evening watching a football game with his favorites. Happiness in the house ⚽️😄
The best experience he told me was going 2 km. out to the ocean to Ryvarden lighthouse in a
storm with pouring rain. 💦💨🌊
I can highly recommend Lukas as a great Workawayer, and I hope he will come back one time 🤗Feedback

Hard work in the garden, driving dirt in wheelbarrow, and stacking materials. They also painted ceiling and walls in a bathroom. This work was done in a fabulous way. They also helped with housework. We also got the opportunity to join a boat to clear plastic along the beaches.
This was a fantastic day together with a group of friends. Anna and Laura did a great job here aswell 🤗 We picked 350 kg. that day 👏♻️
The parents of these great girls can be realy proud 😄
Finally I will say that we had many funny trips around the area, and also great and cozy evenings together ✨💚

Bjorg is a very outgoing and friendly person who made us feel really welcomed! She introduced us to her lovely family and showed us all the attractions that Haugesund has to offer. The work was very doable, so we hope we did a good job painting the bathroom and helping in the garden.
We did not live in Bjorgs house but at the cabin of her friend that was really gorgeous!
Our 2 weeks with her passed by really quick and we had a very good time!

I stayed at Bjørgs beautiful House for 2 weeks. It is quite small but I had my own bedroom. The garden is very beautiful and there is still a lot of things to do until her paradise is finished. I had a lot of fun with Bjørg.
We were working for some days in her garden for digging and make a new fireplace and compost and more. In the house we made
… read more elderflower juice and I helped her with different other things, when the weather was not really good. We were also visiting her family and friends and went to Haugesund and more to visit different places for sightseeing.

I will recommend Monica as an extremely good and nice workawayer to have around. She does everything you ask her, and even more. She is a hard worker, and keep going until the work is done. Shuffeling dirt and pulling heavy wheelbarrow was a big help for me since I needed some extra muscles. She never complained at all.

Deep in Viking country and within Bjørg’s forest oasis, we talked, we worked and we eat well. She has a cosy little place in the forest with her own mountain view of the surrounding country. … read more with some great people and places visited. A memory for life. Highlight of the visit was the Viking info centre and village, the centre has a great video a must see. The lighthouse Ryvarden lighthouse and walk was spectacular.

Brian was a nice man to have in my house. We had good and easy going conversations.
