Hi, my name is Magdalena. I am 24 years old and live in Switzerland. I am a student of English and Biology at the University of Bern, the capital of Switzerland. I am currently pursuing my Master’s degree and would like to work as a high school teacher after my studies. In order to enter teacher training, I am required to spend a total of 6 months abroad. I have already completed a 4 month stay as an au pair in Ireland and am now looking for a place to spend the remaining 7 weeks. My hobbies include playing volleyball, hiking and snowboarding. I love being outdoors and spending time with friends and family, my boyfriend and his dog. Alongside my studies I work as a tutor, a job I absolutely adore.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

As the oldest of 4 siblings, I have a lot of experience taking care of children and I had several babysitting jobs during my time at school.

I am currently studying English and Biology and would like to teach these subjects at high school afterwards. Alongsides my studies, I am working as a tutor for a non-profit organization.

Occasionally, I also help out at a local restaurant.

I love being around animals. My boyfriend owns a Belgian Malinois and we spend a lot of time with him outside, engaging him in fun games and training exercises.

I am looking for a host willing to accomodate me for about 7 weeks, ideally beginning mid January 2024. I am very open-minded and can imagine helping out in a variety of fields - I would also be happy to learn something new, for instance working on a farm.

I also love cooking and baking.
