Actuellement, je suis

Description

I am an easy going person who is looking forward to traveling to Western Europe summer 2024. I will arrive across the pond with my choir in Italy and Sicily. From there I am so looking forward to exploring more of Europe specifically Italy, Switzerland and France. I thoroughly enjoyed my work away experiences in 2017 and 2019 and look forward to more! I am friendly, responsible and enthusiastic about learning all that I can. I particularly enjoy meeting people and want to be helpful during my assignment. I like to stay busy! I retired in 2018 as a music therapist after 35 years, having graduated from college in 1982. My primary population has been adults with mental illness. I have volunteered with my church teaching religious education since I was 14 years old to very young children. I also have volunteered in a variety of capacities in my community and church from helping with breast cancer marathons, supervising overnight in homeless shelters, community fairs and events, fund raising for the local public radio station and as a church music minister. I have performed in high school, college and community choirs most of my life. I also have done theater, performing in 5 productions over the past 3 years. I love animals, and own a sweet Belgian Malinois who I rescued from the local shelter. In fact, life without a pet is just no fun! I thoroughly enjoy the out of doors especially hiking, walking, camping and exploring. I have traveled a great deal in the United States and Canada and look forward to this new adventure.
