Hi everyone!

My name is Miranda and I'm taking a gap year to travel, make meaningful connections, and take part in cultural exchange while helping out with different initiatives along the way. I'm eager to start this journey, learn new skills, and contribute wherever I can!

I have a background in marine and freshwater biology, and I've worked in a variety of roles. From both field and lab research, conservation to aquaculture and hospitality, I enjoy hands-on tasks, being outdoors, and discovering how people live, work, and connect in different parts of the world.

What motivates me most is the opportunity to share experiences with others, learn from new environments, and step out of my comfort zone. I’m open-minded, adaptable, and happy to lend a hand with whatever is needed, whether it’s physical work, creative projects, or day-to-day tasks.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

- I have experience with gardening, especially growing vegetables, fruits, and small plants in my home garden
- I'm comfortable with all types of housework, including cooking, cleaning, organizing, and helping maintain a tidy, welcoming space
- I’ve worked in hospitality as a hostess and server in restaurants, so I’m confident interacting with guests, managing fast-paced environments, and keeping things running smoothly
- I can offer swimming lessons, as I was a swimming instructor, and I love working with both kids and adults in the water
- I’m happy to help with tutoring, particularly in science or English, and I also speak fluent Spanish, which I’m eager to exchange or help others practice
- I’m an active person who enjoys hiking, swimming, and exercise, so I’m more than happy to take on physical tasks or lend a hand where energy and movement are involved
- Over a decade of competitive swimming taught me discipline, time management, and resilience. I have a strong work ethic and am a fast learner, able to pick up new tasks quickly and apply them efficiently
