Hey! My name is Mille:))
i'm into queer feminism, anarchism, alternative living, using my senses. I'm a big nature lover !

I'm motivated by learning, and having new experiences. I enjoy meeting dreamers and want to join their projects and help them to create what they want to achieve.

It brings me happiness to have eye opening experiences, and meet people that has an alternative and inspirering way of living. In my everyday life I play music, so art and especially music is also something that brings me a lot of happiness.

Vegetable gardening:
I have just recently graduated from a "Pirate" Regenerative Farming School in Denmark, where we learned about a variety of farmingtypes and alternative techniques. I have worked in a regenerative marked garden (2 hektars) for a season as a part of this school. The focus of the school is to prepare young people for starting their own farm.

Collective living:
The farm was also my home at the periode and i lived collectively with around 15 people on the farm and had my own wagon/tiny house.

Previous Workaway:
I have used workaway for a periode of 6 months back in 2021, where i did mostly farming and here i learned better what kind of needs i have when i'm a workawayer, and what type of places that i thrive in. In this way i believe that you are less likely to have bad experience with me:))

Music:
I play the guitar, the piano and i sing. I also enjoy percussion. I would most likely be up for a jam session:)))

Notice that:
- I meet every host with respect, so i expect for a host to treat me with respect too.
- I expect to be working the hours that is described on the profile and to have time for myself in the weekends/days off.
- I do not expect to be working on a specific scedule but i prefer to have some kind of rutine for the day.

Attention! Ici habite des très adorable gens. J’ai resté avec Jeremy et Oriane pendant une mois dans auôt 2021 et c’étais une experience très chère pour moi. (Le mignon mot chère pas l’autre haha). J’était à la ferme avec un ami et nous sommes accueil dans une caravan et une tente. La caravan a beaucoup de couleur et elle est mignon.

Attention!… read more At the end of the road in a charming village called Larré lives two people who are extremely loveable. I stayed with Jeremy and Oriane for about a month in august 2021 with a friend and it was a particularly dear experience for me. They are reasonable and respectful towards their workawayers and naturally giving people. I hope for them to have new workawayers in the future who, like them, are honest, caring and respectful <3 I hope the future workawayers will understand that living on a farm is not a hotel; it’s natural and dirty. As we love it!
They know, as many marked gardeners DON’T, that it is not as interesting weeding all the time. We worked with harvesting, preparing vegetables for the marked, taking care of plants, planting and only a tiny bit of weeding. They know a lot about wild plants and biology in general and are open to share and receive knowledge. AND, very cool, are majority of their chickens are free and live among the ducks and humans and have nests funny places in the farm.
They are reflective, conscious and rational (;)) people who also were interested in getting to know me as a person and have conversations about subjects as ecology, society, feminism and life in general, this I also really appreciated. They were not afraid to share responsibly with us, for example they let us sell the vegetables in their stand at the marked at Limoges even though our bad French might have made them loose a customer or two ;) They introduced us to several locals for example when we went to small summer concerts in Payzac or just for a lunch with the neighbours.
There is a shared kitchen and a kitchen in the main building in that way it was possible to be more autonomous as a workawayer according to meals which I appreciated. We took terms in cooking lunch, always with a big sortiment of delicious veggies from the garden! The caravan is very cute and colorful. The area has beautiful nature, especially the river which we enjoyed a lot for bathing and also there is a beautiful hiking route along the river. When it comes to language exchange they are both native French speakers who enjoy to speak English (and Spanish for Oriane). I also do workaway to learn the French language so naturally we tried to communicate in French but also used English for explanation or for subjects that are more complicated. They enjoyed helping us explore French culture for example we were given as a goodbye gift a USB with french music, movies and educational talks, such a sweet gift.
