Hello there,
I am currently finishing may Bachelors degree in Occuaptional Therapy, but before i start working in that field i wanna seek new experiences and a completely different input than sitting in front of a laptop all day, like I am doing right now for my thesis. In my leisure time I enjoy physical activities, mostly swimming, bike riding and climbing and being in nature in general.
My last volunteering experience was state-funded for 7 months in a permanent residence for people with disablilities (in fact it was the reason why i wanted to become an OT in the first place) and i still think very fondly of it. Due to this adventure i know how powerful and life changing a jump in the cold water can be- i mean this culturally as well as task wise!
This time I am looking for off grid projects, especially with horticultural or manual tasks. Though i don't have much experience in either, i am willing to see this as a learning process where i might build lasting skill as well as helping out. I dont want to hop projects but rather stay for a few weeks and really get settled in if everything fits!
I follow a mostly plant based diet (with occasional exceptions) and would like to continue doing so during my workaway :)
I'm exited to meet you all and make new memories!

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

Due to my vocational training i have basic knowledge in a few crafts- sewing, basket weaving, woodwork and pottery, just to name the most prominent ones.
But i am basically willing to try any task and learn it, being mostly interested in physical, horticultural and manual tasks.

I will finish my thesis 10th of august, then i have a shorter period of time until the end of september when my colloquium will happen. After that i am pretty much free to go :) i would prefer to travel by public transport or hitchhiking, so small postponements might happen especially for destinations in southern europe which i am aspiring to visit
