Hi! I have been studying abroad in Tauranga for the past few months and am preparing to travel for a few weeks in the South Island. I love outdoor activities and exploring new landscapes.

Hi! I am 21yr female, and I have a passion for discovering new experiences and places. I am responsible, hard-working, adventurous, and love to make connections with interesting people! Some of my favorite things are being outside, hiking, anything in the water, music, guitar, and skiing. I am optimistic and strive to see the beauty in all aspects of life. It's important to me to live life to the fullest since there are so many cool things to see and do. I'm willing to help with anything needed, I’m a fast learner with a good attitude! I would love to be like family with hosts and create friendships with the people I hope to meet. I am very low-maintanence, will respect all house rules, and can be flexible with schedules.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I have grown up going on backpacking trips, hikes, and exploring nature. I have also lived in the Dominican Republic for 6 months with an organization that helps people get clean water. I've also visited Costa Rica, Guatemala, and England so I am experienced with Global travel! This makes for a good problem solver and someone who is able to look at tough situations with a good attitude. I've worked at a grocery store for almost 2 years, and worked as a camp counselor for a few summers, so I understand responsibility and efficiency. I worked as an instructional leader at the after school program in a local elementary school, and continued on to co-lead the art class during the summer school program for ages 6-12. I enjoy being around kids and wish to pursue a career in education. I love helping my mom in our garden and with renovating rental homes so I am happy to help with projects like that, or learning new skills! I am a very fast learner!

I LOVE to both play and listen to music, read, journal, do art, and other activities in my freetime. I also love to explore beautiful places and spend time with loved ones. Always up for a good card game or hanging out in the woods. Can't wait to meet people from different backgrounds and cultures than me, and excited to make lifelong connections. And I love to go to the beach!
