Hi, I'm Maya!
I am currently looking for Workaway opportunities after a year of working as a volunteer for an educational mentoring project for children in Leipzig. During this year, I really enjoyed preparing as well as accompanying the project's excursions and interacting with many different, socially committed and warm-hearted people.

If I had to describe myself I would say that I'm an authentic, empathetic, openminded, sensitive and adventurous person.
I am particularly interested in everything to do with art, such as music, theater, films, (feminist)literature, pottery, linocut printing, painting, drawing and cooking (personally I think that's also a form of art👩‍🍳).
Through Workaway, I would love to learn more about gardening and how to grow organic fruit and vegetables. I've also wanted to learn to play the guitar for a long time, so it would make me very happy if someone would like to teach me some of the basics.
Also always interested in sharing favourite recipes and cooking them together!:)

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I can speak fluent German and Estonian, I can speak English well, but would like to improve it.
I am well suited for artistic activities and gardening as I've already gained experience with both. In the past, I have also volunteered at social projects and events, which is something I can imagine continuing to do.
However, I am generally a quick learner and would therefore like to try out new skills that I haven't tried out yet:).
