Hello, my name is Matthew or Matt! I like to cook, take photos, and sometimes I write. I also like skiing, sailing, driving, and some other action sports. I play a bit of music here and there. Truthfully, I enjoy most things, and I really like meeting and connecting with people who are passionate about what they do, whatever it is.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I have spent the past several years running sailboat charters in a tourist town. I am a licensed commercial captain. I have a great deal of experience with tourism and customer service, maritime safety and risk assessment, as well as just general sailing and boat maintenance.

I also previously worked for a Conservation Corps, running trail crews and chainsaw crews (of about 3-5 people). We worked in a litany of austere environments such as national forests, often very far from civilization.

Before all that, I worked as a career musician for a while, so I have experience with music (of course), but also with time management, website and social media design, and personal marketing.

I have also done a good few construction projects, in my private life and also in temporary jobs. I have a good deal of experience with automotive, motorcycle, and boat maintenance, so I would say I am overall pretty mechanically adept.
