Hi! I am an international student, currently a senior studying electrical engineering and computer science in Boston. In the future, I am hoping to work in environmental jobs to help restore ecosystems or improve our renewable energy systems.

I have too many hobbies and am very active. I grew up as a bookworm and enjoy reading novels and history and philosophy books. I am an adventurous person and always down for anything outdoorsy, like hiking, climbing, cycling, and more. Since my major is engineering, I am good with computer skills, circuits, and coding. On the side, I enjoy building things and doing art! I built a bike from scratch at the beginning of this year. Also, I love doing Arabic calligraphy and I have decent skills in Adobe Illustrator. Doing all of those hobbies and helping out people bring me fulfillment.

I have lived in dorms for my undergrad journey. I am hoping to get more of a local and community-oriented experience before graduating. I came from Jeddah, a coastal city with a diverse demographic. So, my family enjoys traveling. I have traveled to Kenya, Turkey, Malaysia, the UK, Albania, Kosovo, Morroco, Qatar, Oman, UAE, Arizona, Washington, New Hampshire, Vermont, California, and many more states and countries. That affected my goal in life which is to explore and get to have more new experiences while helping people or the environment simultaneously.

I am new to this platform, but I have been thinking of trying it out for the longest time. Timing while studying for my undergraduate degree finally worked out.

I would be happy to teach Arabic as it's my mother tongue. I grew up reading extensively in Arabic, so I have a wide breadth of vocabulary. I am taking Spanish 1 at my university right now. I would love to learn and practice it more.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

Excellent with technology, coding, and circuits since my major is electrical engineering and computer science. As someone interested in renewable energy and environmental issues, I have general knowledge about energy systems.
I love animals! I never got the chance to live around them for long as many of my family are afraid of them.
I love building projects and DIYing. I grew up helping around the house with fixing lamps, painting walls, and decorating areas.
I love doing photography and designing. I have a professional camera and know how to edit photos professionally. I have recently got into videography and learning how to edit. I am excellent at using Adobe Illustrator for making logos, posters, and educational content.
I am passionate about learning, curious, and fast at picking up skills. Even if there is a skill not mentioned here, I am always excited to expand my skillset.
