We love spending time outdoors hiking and exploring nature. We also enjoy cooking, sharing meals, and connecting with people from different cultures while discovering local food and traditions.

Description

We are an Italian couple who have been living in London for the past seven years. After spending so long in a big city, we decided it was time to take a break and dedicate six months to what truly makes us feel alive: travelling.
Over the years we have often travelled through Southeast Asia and gradually fallen in love with this part of the world. The richness of its cultures, the incredible nature, and above all the kindness and openness of the people we’ve met along the way have left a deep impression on us.
For us, travelling is much more than simply moving from one place to another - it’s a way of fully embracing the present moment. It brings us a sense of calm, curiosity, and fulfillment. We love spending time in nature, sharing meaningful experiences, learning from different perspectives, and connecting with people - whether they are long-time friends, family members, or new people we meet during our journey.
This is why we are so excited about the idea of doing Workaway. We believe it is one of the most authentic ways to truly experience a place, contribute in a meaningful way, and share moments, stories, and everyday life with people from different cultures around the world.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

As a couple, we believe one of our biggest strengths is our ability to adapt, learn quickly, and work well with people from different backgrounds. After living in London for several years and travelling extensively, we are very comfortable in international environments and enjoy collaborating and sharing experiences with others.
We are both hands-on, responsible, and happy to help wherever needed. We enjoy practical tasks such as gardening, basic maintenance, cleaning, painting, and assisting with general daily activities. We are also very comfortable working with people, whether that means welcoming guests, helping in a hostel or guesthouse, assisting with community projects, or simply creating a friendly and positive atmosphere.
We both speak Italian and English fluently and would be happy to help with language exchange or informal teaching.
Whenever we return to Italy, we love taking long walks with our family dog, going hiking in the mountains surrounded by nature, and spending quality time with family by cooking together. We also enjoy playing educational games with our younger cousins, which brings us great joy and helps us connect across generations.
We love spending time outdoors and are particularly interested in projects connected with nature, sustainability, eco-living, and community life. We are open-minded, curious, and always eager to learn new skills.
Most importantly, we bring positive energy, respect for different cultures, and a genuine willingness to contribute and be part of the places we stay.

Beyond our love for travel, nature, and connecting with people, we are also passionate about board games and social activities that bring people together. Some of our favorite games include classic strategy games and cooperative ones, which we enjoy playing as a way to relax and build bonds with others.
We also have interests in photography, journaling our travel experiences, and exploring local cultures through food and music. These hobbies help us appreciate the places we visit on a deeper level and allow us to share stories and smiles with fellow travelers and hosts alike.
Overall, we’re enthusiastic about immersing ourselves fully in every new environment, contributing not just through practical help but also by sharing fun, creativity, and positive energy wherever we go.
