Hi! I’m Marion! I have a master's degree in education and social work, and have spent the last two years in Paris working with immigrants and refugees as a teacher and coordinator. I am American, I speak English, French, Spanish and Italian fluently, and I love meeting people from different backgrounds and cultures! I hope to teach in South or Central America this fall to prepare to become an ESL teacher in the U.S. next year. I love working with kids - I have been a teacher and camp counselor for the past 8 years, and I love any project that is creative in nature. I love singing, acting, documentary filmmaking, playing almost all sports, especially swimming, and trying new things!

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I am skilled in teaching french and English as a second language (5 years experience). I was also a choir teacher for two years. In Paris, I work with refugees and unaccompanied minors. I grew up in New York City and a farm in New York State, so I can garden/do some farm work, and am a quick and enthusiastic learner. I can cook and clean! I speak French and English completely fluently, and Spanish and Italian quite well. I was a trained lifeguard (certificate in the US) and was on my university’s synchronized swimming team, and have taught swim classes. I have taught drama and art classes, and have worked with kids in essentially every capacity imaginable (private tutoring, mentoring, volunteering, teaching large classes, teaching small classes, camp counselor, babysitter, nanny, kids aged 4-18, and have more recently worked with adult foreign language learners as well).
