Description
Aloha! We are Dana and Joe, and we live with our two kids, Eli and Taylor (ages 13 and 14), and our dog Piper. We live in Kona on the Big Island of Hawaii. It is a beautiful place with friendly people, lots to do, and wonderful beaches. Joe and Dana keep busy with real estate, and Dana is an elementary school principal and teacher. We are looking for help with landscaping, cooking, light cleaning, and/or carpentry/handy work. We are especially interested in workawayers from other cultures/countries. We love learning about other cultures and have had such great experiences with many workawayers from around the world.
We are also open to those with maintenance/construction type experience who want to help with those types of projects.
We are looking for workawayers who want to stay between 1-2 weeks at a time. We are unable to offer longer term stays.

There is so much to do on our beautiful island. There are wonderful beaches, hiking, snorkeling, diving, surfing, body boarding, and so much more. The island is vast, and there is so much to explore- the volcano, the waterfalls, the nature... We encourage you to have fun and enjoy all our island has to offer. Please, no smoking and no drugs.
