Hi! I’m Marina :)

I’m a Chinese American who was born in the U.S. and grew up in Shanghai. I’ve been based in the U.S. for about 10 years now. After working in finance for several years, I decided to take some time off to focus on personal growth, travel, and connecting with people and communities in meaningful ways.

I’m curious, thoughtful, and dependable. In recent years, I’ve been learning more about psychology, cross-cultural communication, and healing — which has deepened my appreciation for mindful living and genuine human connection.

I love spending time outdoors: playing tennis, ultimate frisbee, hiking, and practicing yoga. I’m organized, detail-oriented, and value a balanced healthy lifestyle.

I hope to experience new ways of living, learn from different communities, and contribute wherever I can, whether that’s helping around the house or supporting a project.

I speak English and Chinese fluently and enjoy connecting with people from different backgrounds.

I’m organized and like keeping spaces clean, cleaning and tidying are relaxing for me.

I also enjoy healthy cooking and experimenting with simple, nourishing meals. I’m happy to help with meal prep, kitchen organization, or sharing healthy recipes.

In general, I’m responsible, a fast learner, and approach every task with care and attention to detail.
