Hello ,dear Friends,
I have decided to sign up for Workaway, as I love travelling, meeting new people, exchange views on life and the world we live in, experience cultural exchange and share my skills with others.

I am a retired university teacher of English, but still active, both mentally and physically, on the constant move,travelling quite a lot. I have a lot of experience, teaching students for over 40 years (at different levels and in many specializations) and a lot of satisfaction from my job , a "mission" in a way....

Besides teaching I am very fond of reading, listening to music, growing plants, photography (I take a lot of pictures of nature), trekking,"forest bathing", swimming and cooking (my family and friends think it's fabulous, always made with love for the people and food).
I am a nature-lover, trying to have as much contact with nature as possible, showing deep respect for Mother Earth and all beings, having a lot of inspiration from nature.
I have a warm personality, I am understanding, respectful and adaptable.
I have very good communication skills, am sociable, friendly and open-minded.

As a workawayer I could offer help with teaching English of course, also with gardening, fruit picking, vegetable harvesting, meaningful companionship, and share experience with cooking.
I could also look after kids/ young teenagers, as I feel I am still young at heart :)

As mentioned above, I have an academic degree in English, and experience of over 40 years of teaching. With a workaway option, I would gladly learn some other languages, at least basics. Being a native -speaker of Polish I could also offer assistance, if needed :)
