Hello!
I'm a workawayer who loves languages, exploring other countries and cultures, and learning, in general. Nature is where I find peace of mind and soul, and last year I was introduced to some of the teachings of Buddhism, which I continue learning about. Workaway gave me the chance to experience all of the above at the same time two summers ago, and I would love to explore new possibilities this year.
I feel very fortunate to speak English and make a living teaching it because that has led me to the most enriching experiences of my life. One of the places where I have felt most at ease is in recent years is the UK, for the wisdom and generosity of the people I have met there, but now I am ready to get to know other parts of the world.
In addition to my workaway eperience lat summer, I have had the chance to do volunteer work for Transition Town Totnes, helping organize their film festival, and at the Dartington Summer School of Music, where I provided support with whatever was needed: ushering, accompanying students with disabilities, checking facilities for safety, etc. I'm afraid I only have basic cooking skills and don't know much about gardening either, but I'm ready to learn :)

I studied translation and interpreting in college (of English, German and Italian) and I continued learning other languages later on (French and Basque). Nowadays, I hardly ever use German, Italian or French, but I'd be most happy to put them into practice again, and I would love to learn Arabic and Japanese at some point! :)

Quelles sont vos compétences ?
I have worked as a teacher of foreign languages almost all my life, and I have had students of all ages. I specially enjoy working with people, and I'm also used to using technology to prepare and teach my classes.
Other jobs I've had: receptionist, kitchen assistant, customer service representative.
