Description

My name is Maggie and I have always wanted to explore the world, delve into new cultures, learn new languages, and incorporate all this into my love of nature. I am passionate about sustainability, the outdoors and sharing this love with others. I have worked in the outdoor field for nearly a decade. Some of these jobs have included working on a number of luxury dude ranches out west, working in children's programs outdoors, working as a zip line guide and other guided positions, as well as working in conservation.

While working in conservation, I had the opportunity to work with my company to
create a system to take all the food not used by the conservation teams in the field, and to bring this food to the local homeless shelter, as well as leading a donation drive for the homeless shelter. I am passionate about giving back to the community where I can and connecting with my community to bring about good where we can.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I worked in conservation as a crew lead, building and maintaining trails, identifying invasive plants and treating them, repairing historic buildings and much more. I have my WFR, first aid, anaphylaxis training, and chainsaw certificate. I have worked on several ranches in the US, helping with cattle and horses in varying degrees. I have an associates in outdoor recreation leadership and another associates in outdoor education. I have had animals all my life and originally was going to college in a pre-vet program. I have been a nanny for years, worked with children on several ranches and come from a large family with lots of little ones. I am proficient with power tools, large tools for building trails, and have recently started dabbling in welding.

I love learning and playing new games. I also dabble in art, music, and writing. I love spending time outsides, especially with animals. I am a quick learner and love hands on projects, and am especially interested in building/constructing projects.
