Hello, my name is Maelle and I'm 21 years old! I have just graduated from university and decided to go travelling for a bit of time.

Originally from France, I have lived both in the USA and in the UK at various points of my life. Growing up, I had the chance of traveling with my family within Europe, North America and Asia. This gave me a sense of how big and diverse the world is, making me want to witness as much of its beauty as possible. Growing up in a small mountain village, I have always loved being outdoors, inventing adventures to go on to, trying new things and being active. I am also quite social and would rather do all of these things with other people! I love sharing moments with others and learning from their experiences and knowledge.

I have decided to go travelling to South America as I was drawn to this area of the world due to its natural beauties, incredible culture and languages. I am travelling for a couple of months and wish to see both some important landmarks but also get away from the touristy areas. I am excited to start this trip and hopefully work with you for some part of it!

I am fluent in both French and English and I have taught both to children and adults. I started learned Spanish in school but I still have a lot to learn. I would like to learn more Spanish to consolidate my knowledge, or start learning a new language! I enjoy doing language exchanges where I could help someone learn a new language and they can teach me something new too!

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

- In my spare time I enjoy building things out of various materials, going from little wooden games, to chairs to re-doing my swing. I have built and sustained a vegetable garden, growing tomatoes, courgettes, kale, salad, carrots, strawberries etc.
- I am fluent in French, English and a l know a little bit of Spanish. Throughout my university I have tutored French and before that, I used to tutor children to do their homework and prepare for tests.
- I have completed a university degree in Social Science Research, concentrating on understanding the impact that governmental policies have on people. This has taught me research skills, helped improved my writing, and greatly broadened my knowledge and inequalities and international attempts to reduce them.
- During university, I was the Social Secretary for my rugby team. I planned weekly events, held the social media pages for the team and organised an international trip.
