Hi, my name is Lucia!

I’m from Vicenza, a small town near Venice, but I’ve been living in Milan for the past 15 years, where I work as a freelance make-up artist.
I’m a responsible, patient and easy-going person who adapts easily to new situations. I love meeting new people, discovering different cultures and learning from every experience.

I truly enjoy spending time with children and have gained a lot of experience with them through my Workaway stays. I also love nature, outdoor activities, art, photography, museums and taking care of plants.
Over the past few years I’ve developed a real passion for personal growth, mindfulness and spirituality, which have become an important part of my life.

My goal with Workaway isn’t just to travel, but to create meaningful connections, share experiences, help where I can and keep improving my English while discovering beautiful places and inspiring people.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I have many years of experience with childcare and babysitting, and I genuinely love spending time with children. I started babysitting when I was 17 and still occasionally help families today.

I’m a freelance make-up artist with over 15 years of experience in fashion and beauty. I also studied graphic design and enjoy creative projects.

In my free time, I love oil painting, taking care of plants (I have around 60!), photography and anything related to art and creativity.

Over the last few years, I’ve developed a strong interest in personal growth and mindfulness. I try to practice Vipassana meditation and enjoy learning from different cultures, people and experiences.

I’m always happy to help wherever needed and I enjoy learning new skills along the way

I’ve had the chance to do several wonderful Workaway experiences, even if there aren’t many reviews on my profile.

My first experience was in Ireland, near Cork, where I spent almost a month with a lovely family of six children. Since then, I’ve returned twice to the same family in Malta and twice to the same family in Arillas, Greece. Going back to the same hosts has always felt like coming home.

Through these experiences, I’ve discovered beautiful people, meaningful connections, and a deeper interest in personal growth and spirituality. I believe the hugs, friendships, and memories we share say much more than the number of reviews.
