Hello, it's a pleasure to meet you!

We are Louis (from Shropshire, England) and Karolina (from Zielona Góra, Poland) - a travelling twosome whom love to explore the world, express our creativity and embrace different cultures!
Our main motivation for joining this site is to open our minds to new and exciting experiences, as well as gain an authentic look into how people from across the globe live within their communities.
We also very much enjoy the prospect of sharing our own knowledge, language and skills with others too - learning is a continual journey.

As people we are very respectful, compassionate, introspective (enjoy a deep conversation) and have a great love for nature and wildlife. If there is an opportunity for us to connect with the great outdoors, we would happily get involved.

The kind of opportunities we are looking for involve language exchange, pet sitting (we adore animals of all kinds), house sitting and gardening based work. Though we really are flexible and can learn on the go.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

Louis:
I am well travelled and enjoy picking up new languages. English is my native tongue, but I also know a fair amount of French and a little Japanese.
I am also currently learning Polish!
My background is in design and my interests involve illustration, painting and photography - I can assist with a variety of projects that need a creative approach. I am also physically fit and have worked in many physical jobs over the last 10 years, as such lifting, carrying and assisting with manual tasks is not a problem for me.
I also have a great love for animals and being outdoors, having pets myself and having had experience pet sitting (not just cats and dogs, but also exotic pets like snakes and bearded dragons) so I am more than happy to be the in care of animal kind too!

Karolina:
I'm a sociologist and a certified Veterinary Technician, currently doing my postgraduate studies in Pet Behaviourism. I love animals and nature wholeheartedly, and I also love to learn more about the topics firsthand.
I ran my own homely dog hotel, petsitted 24/7 and walked packs of up to 6 doggies at a time. Alongside this, I equally petsitted at other owner's homes (dogs, cats & fish).
I also worked at vet clinics where I helped with everything from routine care to surgeries and stayed with pets overnight at the hospital. I work quickly and efficiently in crisis situations.

I do have experience and some knowledge about gardening; from planting and taking care of flowers such as roses, tulips, hydrangeas, peonies, alliums, lavender, catnip to planting fruit trees, herbs and veggies (tomatoes, peppers, cucumbers, zucchini).

I love coziness and I believe in being generous, compassionate and warm to everyone I meet.

I'm Polish, but I'm also fluent in English.
