Hi!
My name is Lizzie and I am travelling for a year to extend my understanding of the world and hopefully meet lots of lovely people in amazing places. I am from Norfolk in England and am new to workaway. I am curious, adventurous and passionate about conservation and humanitarian causes. I love to read and to get lost in nature. I am hoping to experience lots of new things and leave a positive impact wherever I go. I am looking to travel in Spain over the next month and then will be looking to visit India and New Zealand from January onwards. I hope everyone who reads this has a beautiful day!

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I am a qualified teacher of English literature and language at the secondary school level and am certified for the British GCSE exam boards as an examiner. I have taught full-time for the last three years so would be able to teach English.

I also have experience volunteering for wildlife charities in Norfolk as well as previous experience in the service industry and working in galleries. This has given me customer service skills, organisational skills and problem solving skills.

I have grown up around animals including horses, dogs, cats and chickens so I am very comfortable around them and well versed in caring for animals. I am comfortable carrying out farm work.

I have experience of conservation through a trip to Madagascar where we surveyed wildlife and coral reef bleaching. I am also a certified PADI open water diver as a result.

I have rudimentary French (but would like to improve it) and am always open to learning new languages.
