Hola! :)
We are Lisa and Basti, two adventurous souls from Germany.
Lisa is 25 years old and works as a social worker and sports therapist, while Basti is a 27-year-old sports scientist and 400m hurdler.
Okay, now that the official and slightly boring stuff is out of the way, let’s get to the more interesting part! :)

We both love being surrounded by nature and open-minded people. In her free time, Lisa loves wandering through the forest, collecting herbs and mushrooms, exploring nature and, whenever possible, doing it all barefoot. Meanwhile, Basti can usually be found on the track smashing a sprint session, working out or going for a run through the woods.
We’re both passionate about sports, being active and spending time outdoors. We also enjoy yoga, and Lisa especially loves creative and hands-on projects such as pottery, gardening, painting and DIY.
We both had pets (cats and dogs) growing up and really enjoy being around animals, so helping with pets or other animals would definitely be something we’d enjoy.
We also love cooking, trying out new recipes and sharing meals with other people. For us, food is one of the nicest ways to bring people together, and we’re always curious to discover new dishes and local ingredients. We mainly cooking high plant and high protein meals :)
We’re curious people and always interested in learning new skills, hearing different perspectives and getting to know other ways of living. We’re not afraid to get our hands dirty, enjoy working together and are always happy to help wherever we can.

Travelling is another big passion of ours. This is our first time doing Workaway, and we see it as a great opportunity not only to explore Australia, but also to really get to know the people, culture and everyday life along the way.

We’re easy-going, active, curious and always up for a new adventure.
