Hi,
I'm Lili from Augsburg, Germany.
I am 24 years old and have spent the last 5 years in Vienna, where I studied cultural and social anthropology. After my graduation from high school in 2017 and completion of my Bachelor's degree last year, I followed my passion for travel and exploring countries such as the US, Morocco, South East Asia, Namibia, and South Africa.
Traveling has always been a significant part of my life, influenced by my mother who is a travel agent. I deeply enjoy meeting new people, learning from them, and immersing myself in their cultures; it's what inspires me the most.
After all, where else can you gain such experiences if not by traveling to unfamiliar places?
Given my openness and curiosity towards all things new, I believe workaway is an ideal platform for acquiring new skills and connecting with interesting individuals.
Besides that I'm very intrested in art, architecture, design, literature, and social work as well.
In describing myself, I would emphasize my open-mindedness, curiosity, and easygoing nature.
And I am always eager to try activities I haven't experienced before too.
While I am very social and enjoy the company of nice individuals, I also have a quiet side, relishing moments spent alone, strolling in nature, and embracing a peaceful life.
Growing up independently, I have earned skills in cooking, assisted my mother in the garden during my youth, managed my own apartment and maintaining a preference for organization and cleanliness to ensure comfort.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

Growing up, I learned a lot of useful skills. I'm good at cooking, thanks to helping my mom in the kitchen when I was young. I also enjoyed working in the garden with her, which taught me how to take care of plants.
Now that I have my own place, I'm good at keeping it tidy and organized. I learned to manage things well, making sure everything is clean and in its place.
During my teenage years, I looked after my younger sister, which gave me valuable experience in taking care of children.
I'm also very social and open-minded, which helps me get along with many different people. I love learning new things and trying out creative activities like drawing, painting, and crafting, which I've been passionate about since I spent a lot of time in my grandfather's carpentry workshop when I was a kid. It's fun to create something new and express my creativity.
