Description

Hello, my name is Lilly. :) I am an English teacher traveling through Europe who is available to work/volunteer during the months of August to November 2026. I currently teach English in Madrid for an elementary until the summer and will leave to Switzerland for 8 weeks to teach at a summer camp with international kids. And after I have no plans yet but I do not wish to leave Europe just yet! I would love to try to work at a hostel or a lively environment where I will have the opportunity to see a city through the the locals eyes. I am will to put in my all, I'm great at planning and organizing events and adventures, enjoy having a great time, and I'm just so excited to see whats out there!

What motivates me is the chance to step into new communities, learn through experience, and give back in meaningful ways. I have experience being a language teacher. I am passionate about language and cultural exchange and have dedicated the past few years to studying and teaching languages while traveling to connect with people around the world.

However, I am hard-working, open-minded, and love a good challenge whether it’s helping with language practice, lending a hand on a farm, assisting in community projects, or just sharing stories over a meal.

I have a strong background in language education, with experience teaching English to children, teens, and university students in both classroom and online settings. I'm TEFL certified and recently completed my master’s degree in Applied Linguistics, where I also studied curriculum design and needs analysis for English learners. I’m creative, dependable, and genuinely passionate about connecting with people through language and culture. I’m comfortable working independently or alongside others, and I’m always eager to contribute whether it’s helping with language learning, childcare, organizing tasks, or sharing meals and stories. I speak intermediate Spanish and am actively working to improve it through immersion and daily practice. I'm a fast learner, adaptable, and committed to creating a positive, respectful environment wherever I go.
