Description

We are about to start our sabbatical year. So we'll be travelling and hopefully meet interesting people at interesting places. Great prospects!!!

Markus: I really enjoy being outdoors in nature. Exercise is very important to me.
New projects motivate me and give me energy. I like to get involved and am happy when I can create something tangible, meaningful and useful. I really like realizing DIY-projects and I think I'm good at childcare and household activities.
I'm curious about other people and value interacting with them. I also really enjoy improving my foreign language skills.
As father and mother of two we have been lucky to experience the special magic of children. And now we are even grandparents: Overwhelming! Our grandson will be a year in March.
I'm a teacher and school counselor.
Other people perceive me as someone who has a good sense of self and others and who has a wide range of interests.

Annette:
I' a vidid and curious person. I enjoy being in contact with other people and I enjoy learning about other ways of life. I'm good at playing with children. As a Montessori-teacher I believe in the positive and life-affirming power of children ("How much fuller and richer life would be if we saw the child in all his greatness, all his beauty, instead of focusing on all his little mistakes?" - M.Montessori).
I love reading, writing and singing.
I' m happy when I can pursue little art projects or when I can do needleworks. I'm very much interested in other people's creative ideas.
I like swimming, cooking and baking.
It's a great experience to travel. After having had a sabbatical year a couple of years ago with extended stays in New Zealand and Greece I'm looking forward to the one ahead. Pure joy!!!
