Currently located in Sweden. We are looking for a workaway in southern Europe and are available from now until the end of February.
Description
Hello! We are a couple from Scotland (Leah) and Sweden (Viktor) who have been travelling together since 2018. We are a very multicultural couple since Viktor is half Polish and half Taiwanese, but born and bred in Sweden, and Leah is half Scottish and half Namibian, but also has roots in Portugal and Angola. We love sharing our cultures with each other and would love to share them with you too!
Our latest adventure saw us live in Taiwan for a year where Leah worked as an English teacher and Viktor as a research assistant. We got to see a lot of Asia during our time there and met wonderful people, but we are excited to be back in Europe and plan on taking advantage of all the beauty that this continent has to offer.
While we are looking for long term employment once again and navigating the tricky hurdles that Brexit has established, we plan on using Workaway to experience something new, help out an individual/family/community and fulfil our wish to see more of Europe.
We are happy to help with a variety of things listed on our profile, but particularly childcare, cooking, farming, gardening and general maintenance. Having worked with children aged 3-15, Leah is very experienced in that area. Viktor has worked in agriculture so is interested in farming and gardening. Not to mention, his family own a long-running successful restaurant in Sweden, so he is happy to cook up any meals your heart desires!

We are both interested in learning/practising languages wherever possible! We are both also happy to share knowledge of our languages. Although Viktor is Swedish, he is also half Polish and additionally speaks English, Italian, French and some Chinese. Leah's work as an English teacher means she would be happy to help with any English practice.

Viktor loves photography and like so many others has developed a keen passion for analogue photography over the past six years. He also loves sports, especially football, and enjoys running and being in the nature.
Leah is very musical and has a background in dance and musical theatre. She has a master's degree in history and so is keen to learn about the historical and cultural side of new places. Her background in TV means she would love to help out with any videography/social media promotion needs!
