We are a couple from Australia and currently living aboard our 29ft Ranger, sailing along the west coast of Vancouver Island, Canada. We are adventurous at heart and are always looking to start a new chapter! Hopefully our next one is with you :)

Hello! I'm Lauren, I am qualified as Yoga teacher, Pilates instructor, Reiki practitioner and Sound healer, originally from England but I have been calling Australia home since I was 6 years old. With strong Pitta energy, I'm always staying busy whether thats playing with my watercolours or rebuilding a website.

After six years in real estate, I realised the importance of work-life balance, leading me to the wellness industry. As most teachers are, I will forever be a student, constantly growing.

G'day I'm Jacob and I'm currently studying a Bachelor’s Degree in Health Safety and Environment. I have previous experience in the surf industry as an instructor and lifeguard in Canada, Nicaragua and back home in Australia (ISA Level 1 Qualified). I also have experience in carpentry and general labouring and I would be stoked to help out with any projects! In my spare time im either down at the beach, surfing or spearfishing for dinner.

We are both so excited to share our skills and create meaningful connections with people across the globe.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

In my previous career in the real estate industry I worked in many different roles, including reception, sales administration, property manager, marketing and operations & executive assistant.

While working within the wellness industry I have taught a variety of classes in person and online, including:
- Vinyasa, Yin, Hatha & Ashtanga Yoga
- Kids Classes & Retreats
- Mums & Bubs Yoga
- Matwork & Reformer Pilates
- Sound Journeys & Reiki Healing

In addition to this I have volunteered within youth mental health and mother + baby units in hospitals.

Along side running my own yoga business, I assist yoga studios with administrative tasks which include; responding to enquires, managing memberships and accounts, social media content, digital marketing, website creation and maintenance, and managing special events. I am proficient in all major management and accounting softwares, and am extremely quick to learn new systems.

Jacobs experience :
I'm currently working in the construction industry in Canada, embracing the nuances of building in new environments and with different materials. I find pleasure in hard work and enjoy the satisfaction it brings. including but not limited to;
- Form work, foundations, retaining walls
- Framing, internal and external
- Cladding, installation of windows, insulation
- Roofing and flashing

I also have experience as a ISA Level 1 Qualified Surf Instructor in Canada and Nicaragua and as Royal Lifesaving Australia Qualified Lifeguard back home. This has equipt me with a comprehesive knowledge of first aid and water safety.

These roles have allowed me to develop a broad skill set, including strong communication abilities, attention to detail, positively interacting with clientele and a deep respect for hardwork. I also has proficiencies in the microsoft suite, use of basic and specific hand tools such as jackhammers and operating heavy machinery including tipper trucks.
